Three Commissioners have been appointed to the Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPC) - Jan Bessell, Glyn Roberts and Paul Hudson, to ensure that it effectively carries out its functions. The IPC has been set up to streamline and "create a more efficient, transparent and accessible planning system" by delivering major projects such as large wind farms, power stations and railways.
