A new regulatory framework for the social housing sector was published for consultation by the Tenant Service Authority on 12th November. This sets out six new standards for social housing providers, setting out required outcomes, requiring housing providers to set out local standards including in tenant involvement, and introduces measures intended to reduce red tape and increase transparency.
