In a speech to the Policy Exchange, Greg Clark, Minister for Decentralisation, has set out the ‘right to know', the ‘right to challenge', and ‘turning government on it's head' as the three fundamental actions required to decentralise power and build the Big Society.

NAVCA, the national voice of local voluntary sector support and development organisations, has produced a report following a survey of their members to gauge their understanding, expectations and reservations about the Big Society proposals.

The Office for Civil Society has set up a taskforce to reduce bureaucratic burdens on voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises, especially smaller organisations. Its members include Community Matters Chief Executive, David Tyler.
