VCS asked for more for less ideas as budgets cut
Voluntary and community groups have been invited to suggest ways to reduce the public spending deficit, in an open letter from Cabinet Office Minister, Francis Maude and charities Minister Nick Hurd. This comes as the Office for Civil Society announce cuts to their budget by over £11m this year, from volunteering programmes, social enterprise support and Capacitybuilders funding.
