Headline findings for citizenship survey published

The Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has published the statistics from the April-December 2010 Citizenship Survey. Key findings include: 38 percent of people felt they could influence decisions in their local area; 44 percent of people felt they would like to be more involved in local decisions; and 33 percent of people said they had engaged in civic participation in the 12 months prior to interview.
