Urban Forum with Locality and local partners are organising a series of nine FREE regional learning events on Community Rights. Here are details and presentations for download.
What are the events about?
Community Rights - buying or taking on an asset, building something new for your community, challenging your authority on delivery of services. What does all this mean for you?
The Localism Act and Community Rights presents a whole new agenda for us to get our heads around. This is your chance to find out more about the implementation of the Localism Act.
The events include:
- detailed information on each of the Rights
- examples of the Rights in action
- funding opportunities for groups interested in running public services, assets and influencing development
- a chance to think about how the Rights might work in your area or field of work
