Urban Forum were one of sixty two organisations that signed the Local Works coalition response to the Government's consultation on the new Sustainable Communities Act Regulations.

The concern has been that the draft regulations contain some unintended shortcomings regarding real opportunities for communities and activists to engage and make a difference in their localities using the potential powers of the Act.  Local Work's consultation response contains recommended changes to the regulations.
