Is there a catch?
No, there's no catch. These are challenging times and we recognise that it's more important than ever that voluntary and community groups get the support they need. All we ask is that you help us to create a strong voice for the community sector by getting involved in what we do!
Who is entitled to free membership?
Our free membership offer is open to any not-for-profit organisation based in England. So community groups, charities and voluntary organisation, social enterprises, faith groups are all welcome to join us. If you're from the public or private sector, academia or an individual, you can still become an associate member for a very reasonable amount!
Will I have to pay for any services?
As a member, nothing has changed and all our member services are free. There are some services that we do charge for such as additional copies of our publications, training and consultancy work and some of our events and training. However members receive a substantial discount on all of these services, making them even better value for money!
