Nick works alongside Kate Hathway in Network Development. Nick's role involves a mix of being the ‘eyes and ears' of the organisation, organising and facilitating outreach and network events for members and contacts, as well as the day-to-day policy and research work. A key area of work is overseeing the members' zone of the website.

Nick joined Urban Forum in 2006, having previously been a freelance trainer and facilitator and, before that, worked at the Quest Trust helping communities to network and share good practice. In his spare time, Nick writes scripts (some of which have actually been performed!) and is involved in running a community festival.
