The Home Secretary, Theresa May, has been reported in the Sunday Telegraph as wanting to abolish the Human Rights Act, because she believes it causes problems to the deportation of criminals and suspected terrorists. Lib-Dem Energy Secretary, Chris Huhne, has warned scrapping the Act would be a ‘threat to the Coalition'.
