The £80m Community First programme goes live in October and will be managed by the Community Development Foundation. The £80m fund includes £30m for neighbourhood grants to deprived areas and £50m to support the creation of local endowments. Funding will require match funding or in-kind support from the private sector and/or local people. The programme is available to eligible wards in every Top Tier Local Authority (TTLA).

Community Development Foundation (CDF) launched the Community First website on 4th October.
