EHRC appoints new Chief Executive
The Equality and Human Rights Commission has just announced the appointment of Mark Hammond as its new chief executive. Mark was previously chief executive of West Sussex County Council from 2004 to 2010. Meanwhile, a petition has been set up opposing the proposed cut of 68% to EHRC's budget (compared to 2007).
