The Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) has announced a £100m Empty Property Programme to bring empty properties back into use. For the first time the programme is open to community organisations that are not housing associations to register an expression of interest . The programme will begin on 1st April 2012, but expressions of interest (not specific proposals) must be submitted by 3rd May 2011. Find out more about Self Help Housing .
