The government has announced plans to develop a single website (domain) for all government's online presence, following a recommendation from Digital Champion, Martha Lane Fox. A government ICT strategy is intended to save millions of pounds by reducing waste and using ICT to deliver greater efficiency. The feasibility of a single government domain will be the first project for the new ‘Skunkworks ' team within Cabinet Office.
