Evening Discussion

In partnership wih Brighton and Hove Community and Voluntary Sector Forum

Representatives from voluntary and community sector organisations and Urban Forum members were invited to this FREE evening discussion about the implications of the Big Society and the new government's priorities and policies. The discussion aimed to identify what community and voluntary groups wanted to achieve and some ways forward in the changing policy climate.

The government set out an ambitious agenda to build a Big Society based around social responsibility and community action. The CVSF, in partnership with Urban Forum, facilitated a discussion on the role of small community and voluntary groups in building a Big Society in Brighton and Hove.
