Liberal Democrat Shadow Chancellor, Vince Cable has published a pamphlet setting out proposals for tackling the economic crisis. It includes nine savings as a start to a radical programme of reform including; scrapping several major IT projects and ID cards, efficiency savings at the NHS, curbing the centralisation of the education system and reducing the amount of waste in defence procurement sales.
