Local Area Agreement Priorities

Under the new system of Local Area Agreements (LAA), top-tier councils are required to prioritise 35 out of 198 new national performance indicators, in accordance with their area's particular needs. Of the 150 LAAs throughout England, 61 have chosen national indicator 7 (NI7), to create an environment in which voluntary sector organisations can thrive. 85 councils have included indicator 4 (NI4), the number of people who feel they can influence local decisions.

And for the LAA anoraks....

If you want to access the data of all the indicators chosen for all the 150 LAAs, CLG have released the data held in a rather clever bit of excel programming that allows you to look at different indicators one by one, look at individual areas, or get a regional breakdown.
