Councils in three areas have been given new powers to develop cross-council approaches to improve employment, skills, housing and transport. Councils across North Kent, the West of England and Birmingham, Coventry and the Black Country have been announced as the latest Multi Area Agreements to be agreed by Communities Secretary John Denham.
