Plan to help homes cut emissions
The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have pledged their support for the 10:10 campaign to cut carbon emissions by 10% by 2010. DECC have launched several new funding schemes including a new Community Energy Saving Programme worth £350 million to deliver whole house and whole street energy makeovers concentrating on more deprived communities.
