A learning summary is now available from an exchange attended by four Beacon authorities. These events were supported by the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA), the World Wildlife Fund, the Planning and Advisory Service (PAS) and the Department for Communities and Local Government. The events looked at the government's key messages on planning, the skills local authorities need to meet the new requirements and how the Beacons have addressed these issues.
