Urban Forum has launched a major new report which, based on research over the country, points up the severe inbalance of men and women at senior levels in Local Strategic Partnerships (LSPs). 

The report, published jointly with Oxfam UK and Women's Resource Centre, finds that whilst women are fairly represented at lower levels of these structures, the percentages drop alarmingly higher up the scale. The report calls on government to address this by monitoring women's involvement and disseminating good practice from those LSPs that are performing well.
