Involvement Case Studies
In 2009 Urban Forum was commissioned by the Equality and Human Rights Commission to carry out research into good practice by public bodies in involving different sections of the community in local decision making.
The findings from research into 10 case study examples were used by
the Equality and Human Rights Commission in their publication published
in February 2010 ‘Involvement:
A practical guide '.
The case studies examined different
methods of involvement in decision making, how to make these work
effectively, and the benefits for those involved. The case studies
examine involvement of different sections of the community by a range of
public bodies.
